At DTM Technology R&D, we maintain rigorous quality control standards. Due to the nature of B2B transactions, high-value drone technology, and international logistics costs, our refund and return policy is governed by the following terms:

1. Order Cancellation & Deposit

  • Deposit Non-Refundability: Once the 50% deposit is paid and production has commenced or components have been procured, the deposit is non-refundable. This covers the cost of raw materials, labor, and R&D allocation.
  • Cancellation by Buyer: If the Buyer cancels the order after the balance payment but before shipment, DTM Technology R&D reserves the right to retain the 50% deposit and any specialized customization costs.

2. General "No Return" Policy

  • We do not accept returns or offer refunds for "change of mind" or "unsold inventory" once the goods have been shipped from Shenzhen (FOB Shenzhen). All B2B sales are considered final.

3. Defective Goods & Quality Claims

If the products are found to be defective upon arrival, the following process applies:

  • Inspection Period: The Buyer must inspect the goods within 7 business days of receipt. Any claims regarding manufacturing defects must be submitted in writing with supporting evidence (photos, videos, flight logs, or diagnostic reports).
  • Resolution: If a manufacturing defect is verified by DTM Technology R&D:
    1. Repair/Replacement: We will provide replacement parts or a replacement unit at no cost.
    2. Credit Note: In certain cases, we may issue a credit note to be applied toward future orders.
    3. Refunds: Full or partial refunds are only issued if a major defect cannot be resolved through repair or replacement, as determined by DTM Technology R&D.

4. Shipping Damage (FOB Terms)

  • Under FOB Shenzhen terms, DTM Technology R&D is not responsible for damage, loss, or theft occurring during transit.
  • Claims for shipping damage must be filed by the Buyer against their insurance provider or the freight forwarder. We will provide necessary documentation to support your claim.

5. Customized & R&D Products

  • Orders involving Customized Specifications (OEM/ODM) or Specific R&D Development are strictly non-returnable and non-refundable. The Buyer is responsible for confirming all technical specifications before production begins.

6. Return Shipping

  • No goods may be returned to DTM Technology R&D without a prior Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA).
  • If a return is authorized for repair, the Buyer is responsible for shipping costs, duties, and taxes associated with returning the item to our Shenzhen facility, unless otherwise agreed.
